Romana Szuťányi has joined ROWAN LEGAL. She will oversee the management of the employment law specialization and its further development. At the same time, Michaela Jiříková, who focuses on corporate law, has been promoted to the position of senior associate at ROWAN LEGAL.

Romana Szutanyi joins ROWAN LEGAL from KPMG Legal, part of the KPMG multinational advisory network. She is an experienced expert in employment law, which she has been practicing for more than 15 years. She specializes in individual and collective labor relations, drafting contractual documentation and internal regulations, labor law compliance, handling ethical incidents in the workplace and protecting employee privacy.

In addition to her law practice, she has long been involved in these issues at university level and in management education. “Passing on knowledge and experience to students is as important to me as providing legal advice to clients. I believe that my work at ROWAN LEGAL will help both the development of business in the field of labor law and cooperation with students of domestic universities,” said Romana Szutanyi upon joining the firm.

Romana Szutanyi is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and has completed several study stays at law schools in Belgium and France. In addition to Czech, she speaks English and French.

Michaela Jiříková, who has been promoted to the position of senior associate, specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and transaction advisory. She has experience in providing legal services to Czech and foreign clients, mainly from the private sector. In the area of acquisitions and divestitures, she has been involved in numerous transactions in the financial, manufacturing, construction, and energy industries. She also advises on financial market regulation, particularly in relation to financial and credit institutions, and competition law.

“During her several months at ROWAN LEGAL, Michaela has demonstrated that she is a very promising lawyer with excellent erudition in the field of mergers and acquisitions and corporate law. Michaela Jiříková is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Charles University, she also gained experience at the Faculty of Law of the University of Antwerp in Belgium.
