Rowan Legal

At ROWAN LEGAL, we consider well-drafted contractual documentation to be the basis for any cooperation and business relationship. We prepare contracts that address our clients’ risks, and at the same time we look for balanced solutions that will enable our clients to develop their business partnerships. We do not merely prepare documents – we help to make the deals. We view contracts from all angles and leverage our expert knowledge of individual business sectors and law. We are experts in IT, telecommunications, energy and construction. In addition to general issues of contract law, we can deal with issues of intellectual property protection, personal data, cyber security and other regulations in contracts.

We also understand the specific cases where goods and services are provided to consumers. We represent our clients in proceedings before supervisory authorities such as the Czech Trade Inspection Authority and the Czech National Bank, as well as in mass disputes with consumers. In addition to traditional business, we help our clients set the rules for dealing with consumers, especially in the outside world.

How we can help:

  • Scheduling of business contracts and their negotiation.
  • Processing and revision of sample contractual documentation incl. its ongoing updating and administration.
  • Analysis of business models and setting up contractual relations, incl. the processing of business conditions.
  • Protection of know-how and confidential information.
  • Setting contractual conditions for consumers.
  • Revision of the way of dealing with consumers online or offline and risk analysis.
  • Negotiating with consumer representatives in potential disputes.
  • Representation before the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, other supervisory authorities and the courts.
