At ROWAN LEGAL, we have several eminent and experienced arbitrators. Besides representing clients’ interests in the role of attorneys, these arbitrators have gained extensive experience in the course of settling hundreds of domestic as well as international arbitration cases.

Our arbitrators have settled disputes held both pursuant to ad hoc arbitration rules (e.g. UNCITRAL, the arbitration rules of the UN Commission for International Law), as well as according to the rules of various permanent arbitration institutions, including the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic, the Arbitration Court of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Arbitration Court at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC), the Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), or the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC).

 

JUDr. Ing. Miloš Olík, Ph.D., LL.M., FCIArb

Miloš Olík has been acting as an arbitrator in more than 180 arbitration proceedings. He is entered on the list of arbitrators of the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic and the world’s leading institutions (The London Court of International Arbitration– LCIA, Vienna International Arbitral Centre – VIAC, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre – HKIAC). Miloš Olík is the chairman of the Board of Arbitrators of the Football Association of the Czech Republic and is a member of many other professional associations and organizations. Miloš Olík is the author or co-author of many professional publications, such as the Commentary on the Act on Arbitration Proceedings and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards, or the prestigious chapter on behalf of the Czech Republic in the ICCA Handbook on Commercial Arbitration.

JUDr. Vilém Podešva, LL.M.

As an arbitrator, Vilém Podešva is mainly engaged in the area of sports law. He also participates in the settlement of disputes particularly in the public sector, and has participated in a number of cases, the subject of which was the reconciliation, by way of conciliation or follow-up arbitration proceedings, of unjust enrichment arising as a result of performance rendered in violation of the Act on Public Procurement.

JUDr. Martin Janoušek

In the area of dispute resolution, Martin Janoušek has participated in the representation of the Slovak Republic in investment disputes, and successfully represented clients in international and national arbitration and before national courts. He decides disputes as an arbitrator of the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Arbitration Board of the Football Association of the Czech Republic. He is also a co-author of the Commentary on the Arbitration and Enforcement Act issued by Wolters Kluwer.

Mgr. Michal Nulíček, LL.M.

Michal Nulíček is a commercial lawyer with extensive experience in representing clients not only before the Czech regulators, other authorities and courts (including the Supreme Court, Supreme Administrative Court, and Constitutional Court), but also before European courts. He also focuses on arbitration and regulatory acts as an arbitrator or party representative.

He is listed with the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) and is a Certified Privacy Professional (CIPP/E).
