Eleven professional categories and 20 recommended experts: ROWAN LEGAL moves up in international The Legal 500 rankings
Prague, March 27, 2024 – The leading Czech law firm, ROWAN LEGAL, has added another significant success to its achievements, following the recognition by Chambers in March. Today, the Legal 500 released the results of this year’s international law firm rankings, in which ROWAN LEGAL was ranked in 11 professional categories, three more than last year. The rankings also list 20 individual attorneys from our firm, recommended by the jury as distinguished experts based on client feedback. This is also an increase from last year’s figures.
ROWAN LEGAL was featured in 11 categories this year, which is three more than last year. It again achieved the highest Tier 1 ranking in two categories, Intellectual Property and TMT, confirming the firm’s position among the absolute world leaders in these areas. ROWAN LEGAL also achieved Tier 2 rankings in Dispute Resolution, EU and Competition, Projects and PPP and Projects and Energy. The firm also achieved new rankings in the Employment and Real Estate and Construction segments.
This year, three representatives of the firm achieved The Legal 500’s highest accolade of Leading Individual, traditionally bestowed upon only 20 individuals in the legal world. Partners Josef Donát and Michal Nulíček won in the Intellectual Property and TMT categories, while another ROWAN LEGAL partner, Jan Měkota, won in the EU and Competition category. Other experts from the firm were ranked in Tier 1, including Samuel Král (Intellectual Property), Jan Tomíšek (TMT) and Pavel Hejl (TMT) among recommended attorneys. Ranked in Tier 2 were Marcela Káňová (EU and Competition), Vilém Podešva (EU and Competition, as well as Projects and PPP and Projects and Energy), Jiří Votrubec (Projects and PPP) and Lukáš Sommer (Projects and PPP as well as Projects and Energy), Lukáš Duffek, Miloš Olík and Petr Zábranský (Dispute Resolution), and Anna Cervanová (Projects and Energy).

Among the individuals ranked in these categories were Martin Šubrt (Banking, Finance and Capital Markets), Jan Frey (Commercial, Corporate and M&A), Simona Mlýnek Štursová and Vladimír Hejduk (Tax), Romana Szutányi (Employment) and Martin Janoušek (Real Estate and Construction).
