Petr Pešek specialises in procedural law, namely law of contracts and law of business organisations, with an additional interest in mergers, acquisitions, investment transactions with an international element, privatisation, and many others.

Having acquired experience in his previous employment with the Czech National Property Fund and Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic, Petr Pešek takes part in a number of projects on the inflow of foreign capital into national companies, privatisation, mergers, acquisitions and funding from the EU structural funds.

Petr Pešek is the author of a number of professional publications and articles on corporate law such as Guide to European Company Laws, Chapter Concerning the Czech Republic (Sweet and Maxwell, 1997 and 2007), Corporate Governance and Financial Control in the Czech Republic, Legislative Analysis and Survey Result (in co-operation with Coopers and Lybrand, 1997) and many others.
