The Managing Partner responsible for HR development and the head of the Public Investment practice at ROWAN LEGAL, Vilém Podešva is a leading specialist in Public Procurement Law and Public-Private partnership (PPP) projects, who also has gained considerable experience in the field of ICT law, Defence Industry Law and Competition Law. He has led teams involved in a number of projects involved in the implementation of information systems in the public sector. In 2006, he was elected chairman of the Appeal Commission of the Ministry for Regional Development which was summoned in connection with the list of qualified public procurement contractors. Vilém Podešva is the co-author of the Commentary on the Law on Public Procurement (Wolters Kluwer, 2011).

Vilda is married, has a daughter and a son, and is a keen sportsman and traveller.
